In the Coldingham charters there are occasional references to the oratory including materials for its repair. It seems likely that the oratory remained in use up to the Scottish Reformation.

Archbishop Elphinstone's Aberdeen Breviary of 1510 collated information on all the Scottish saints and Ebba was among them.

Shortly after 1510 the monks at Dunfermline as well as publicising St Margaret of Dunfermline did likewise with St Ebba of urbs Coludi.
