A major restoration of the Church was completed. While much of church restoration work from this time destroyed important features, this charge cannot be levied on Coldingham Church.

Coldingham Church is the only major medieval church in South East Scotland to have its remains continue in use as an active present day church. Minor alterations and additions continue to be made.
